Privacy Notice for Vita+

2. Scope of This Notice

This Privacy Notice applies to the Vita+ mobile application ("Vita+" or "the App"). Vita+ is designed with privacy by default: the App does not require an account, login, or cloud synchronization. All personal data you create inside the App stays on your device only, unless you choose to export or back it up through your own operating system tools.

If we make material changes to this Notice, we will inform you inside the App or via our website.

3. What Data We Collect

3.1 Data Stored on Your Device (Not Sent to Us)

All content you create inside Vita+ is stored locally on your device. This includes:

  • Activity goals and progress
  • Settings and preferences
  • History of completed or missed activities
  • Any other data generated by your use of the App

We (VitaApps S.R.L.) do not have access to this data and it is never uploaded to our servers.

You may optionally back this data up using your device's OS backup tools (iCloud, Google backups, etc.). These backups are controlled by you and governed by Apple's or Google's privacy policies.

3.2 Data Collected Automatically (Crash & Error Reports Only)

The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes, bugs, and performance issues.

Crashlytics may collect:

  • Basic device information (e.g., OS version, device model)
  • App version
  • Crash logs and stack traces
  • Technical diagnostics
  • Approximate location (country/region), if provided by the system

No personal identifiers or user-created content are sent. This data is anonymous or pseudonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally.

4. No Registration, No Accounts, No Tracking

  • Vita+ does not collect names, emails, passwords, or identity information.
  • Vita+ does not create user profiles.
  • Vita+ does not track your behavior across apps or websites.
  • Vita+ does not use cookies or advertising technologies.

5. Purpose & Legal Basis of Processing

We process data only for:

5.1 App functionality (Local device storage)

  • Purpose: enabling the App to function.
  • Legal basis (GDPR): performance of contract / user's request.
  • Data stays on device.

5.2 Crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)

  • Purpose: diagnosing crashes and improving stability.
  • Legal basis (GDPR): legitimate interests (ensuring app quality and security).

Crash reporting does not include personal data you enter into the App.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties.

The only external service involved is:

  • Google Firebase (Crashlytics) — processes anonymous crash information on our behalf under a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreement.

No other data leaves your device.

7. International Data Transfers

Crash reports may be processed by Google in the EU or other regions. Firebase uses appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect data during international transfers.

No user-created data is transferred.

8. Data Retention

  • Local App data: remains on your device until you delete the App or remove the data manually.
  • Crash reports: kept by Firebase for a limited period necessary to analyze and fix issues.

We cannot delete your local data because we do not have access to it.

9. Your Rights

Under GDPR and other privacy laws, you may request:

  • Access to Crashlytics data (anonymous technical logs)
  • Deletion of crash logs (to the extent technically possible)
  • Information about processing

Since we do not store personal data, some rights (correction, data portability, etc.) do not apply.

10. Children's Privacy

Vita+ is not directed at children under 13. We do not collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child's personal data was inadvertently processed, we will take steps to delete it.

11. Security

We apply industry-standard security measures:

  • Local-only storage of personal data
  • No external servers for user content
  • Secure communication with Firebase Crashlytics
  • Strong device-level encryption provided by iOS and Android

However, no system can guarantee absolute protection.

12. Automated Decision-Making

Vita+ does not use automated decision-making or profiling.

13. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to external websites or help pages. These sites operate independently and have their own privacy notices.
